I saw a youtuber filming and taking photos at this iconic spot. I wanted to show this location from my imagination because there is something about trains that are really attractive to me. I chose a very cold day to do this photo, as there aren’t a lot of people on the streets of the windy city when it’s too cold. This particular location is on the 3rd floor of the parking garage. The main struggle for me was to find the perfect spot and it took me at least an hour. It’s not a big parking lot by any means, but this particular train was coming every 10-12 minutes and it was hard to adjust the camera for the perfect angle when you have only 3 seconds to shoot a picture. Once I got the perfect angle, I sat down at the spot and drank the chai I always bring with me, especially for cold nights like this. 3 sips of chai tea and I was ready to shoot this iconic photo.
